1. Who is responsible
TrustBase is run by DryGuard. The company responsible for your data on this website is:
2. Overview
TrustBase publishes articles about bladder leaks and everyday comfort, including advertising for DryGuard products. You can read everything without an account and without telling us your name. We don’t sell your personal information.
We only process personal data where it is needed to run the website, to measure and improve our articles and advertising, or where you have agreed to it. Personal data means any information that relates to you as an identifiable person, such as your IP address, device information or email address.
3. Hosting & server logs
This website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit, Cloudflare automatically processes technical information your browser sends:
- IP address
- Date and time of the request
- Page visited and the website you came from
- Browser type and version, operating system and device type
This is needed to deliver the website, keep it secure and stop abuse. Where EU or UK law applies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare keeps these logs only for a short time unless they are needed to investigate a security problem.
4. Cookies & consent
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. This website needs no cookies to work. Analytics and advertising cookies (section 5) are only set where the law allows it. For visitors from the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, we do not set analytics or advertising cookies at all: Google’s tools are switched to their no-cookie mode for these regions. You can delete cookies in your browser at any time.
You can also set your browser to block cookies. The articles will still work.
5. Analytics & advertising tools
To understand which articles are useful and which ads bring readers here, we use:
Google Analytics 4
Provider: Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (for EU/UK visitors: Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics counts page views, time on page and clicks, using pseudonymous identifiers. We have turned off Google signals and advertising personalization for this website, so this data is not used to build interest profiles about you. More information: policies.google.com/privacy.
Google Ads conversion measurement
Provider: Google (as above). When you arrive from a Google ad, a click identifier is stored so that Google Ads can tell us whether the ad led to a visit or a purchase in the DryGuard shop. We use it to measure our ads, not for remarketing based on health topics.
Opt out: adssettings.google.com and theGoogle Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
6. Links to the DryGuard shop
Our articles link to the DryGuard shop at trydryguard.com, which is run by DryGuard. When you click such a link you leave this website. The link carries information about the ad or article you came from (for example campaign codes) so we can tell which articles help readers. We don’t pass on your name or contact details.
In the shop, the shop’s own privacy policy applies:trydryguard.com/policies/privacy-policy.
7. Contacting us
If you email us, we use what you send (such as your name, email address and message) to answer you. Where GDPR applies, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your question relates to an order, otherwise our legitimate interest in answering (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete your message once it is fully dealt with, unless we must keep it by law.
8. International transfers
Some providers named above are based in the USA. Where data from the EU or UK is transferred to the USA, this is protected by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (for certified companies) or by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).
9. How long we keep data
We only keep personal data for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected for, or as long as the law requires. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Data based on your consent is kept until you withdraw it. After that, it is deleted or anonymized.
10. Your rights
